Our School Day
School session times
Pupils in Reception to Year 6:
School day begins at 8:55am
At 8:45am the school gates will open giving access to the playground.
All Pupils should enter the playground WITH their parents who must remain with them until the bell rings at 8:55am
There will be a member of the Leadership Team outside from 8:45am to welcome pupils and their parents, however they are not responsible for the pupils until school begins at 8:55am.
At 8:55am the bell will be rung and all pupils will line up and get ready to enter school, parents can then leave through the pedestrian gate.
School day finshes:
At 3:20pm the school day will finish for EYFS - Reception and KS1 pupils.
Parents of Reception pupils must walk around to Reception class doors to meet the pupils.
Parents of KS1 pupils need to wait in the playground and the class teacher will bring the class to the playground and see each child to their parent/carer.
At 3:30pm the school day will finish for KS2 pupils.
Parents of KS2 pupils need to wait in the playground and the class teacher will bring the class to the playground and see each child to their parent/carer.
Nursery Sessions:
Morning session begins at 8:50am and finishes at 11:50am
In a morning, Nursery pupils should enter the playground WITH their parents/carers who must remain with them until the bell rings at 8:55am when they will line up and get ready to enter school.
At 11:50am parents/carers need to press the gate buzzer and once opened walk around to the EYFS Unit door where they can collect their child. You must then exit by the playground gate.
Pupils accessing the 30-hour extended Nursery offer
Monday to Thursday - 8:50am - 3:20pm (including 1 hour for lunch).
Friday - 8:50am to 12:50pm (including 1 hour for lunch)
At 3:20pm Reception and Nursery parents/carers must walk around to the EYFS Unit class doors to collect the pupils
Use of the Fitness Trail and Trim Trail:
Parent/Carers MUST make sure they supervise their children on the trails before or after school as the responsibility for maintaining their safety would lie with them before 8:55am and after school closes.
We strongly suggest that pupils and their siblings do NOT play on the equipment before or after school - thank you.
Dogs are not allowed to enter onto any of the school grounds - this includes the driveway.
